Rosetta's Comet Slowing Down As It Approaches Sun

Comet 67P, the Rosetta satellite's current home, is gradually spinning down.

Generally, the icy comet takes 12.4 hours to complete a single rotation - but mission controllers have noticed that this is extending by nearly a second per day, writes BBC News.
