Rosetta Captures an Incredible Shadow Selfie on the Comet 67P

Rosetta has carried out an extended observation mission of Comet 67P.The chief objective of Rosetta was to explore changes in the comet. The gathered data provided significant information regarding the solar system. Recently, the space probe has captured a selfie of its shadow on the comet. The image was taken from a distance of four miles (6Km) from the surface of comet. However, 65ft (20 meters) has been added to the measurement of spacecraft due to penumbra effects.

The European Space Agency’s (ESA) comet-chasing probe Rosetta has delivered its clearest image of Comet 67P, which shows the satellite’s shadow as an added bonus.
