Riley patients become teddy bear doctors for the day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – For many little ones, being in the hospital can be a scary experience. But Friday at Riley Hospital for Children, the kids got to turn the tables and play the role of doctor with some fuzzy patients.

The children at Riley were able to give shots, take a heartbeat and give a cat scan at Friday’s “Teddy Bear Clinic.” From taking blood pressure to putting them into an MRI machine, each child who attended the event got their own bear they used to test medical instruments and take home.
