Rights Group Condemns Attack on Afghan TV Employees

An international rights group has condemned a Taliban attack on a bus carrying employees of Afghanistan's biggest media company, saying the suicide bombing that killed seven was an attack on freedom of speech.

Human Rights Watch said in a statement Thursday the bombing that targeted Tolo TV employees was an "atrocity designed to undermine Afghanistan's still-fragile media freedom."
