Richard III Skeleton’s DNA analysis report released

DNA study of the human skeleton found underneath a car park in Leicester, England, in September 2012 has confirmed that it is of King Richard III. The analysis also found evidence of 'false paternity' that raises doubts about the royal claims of centuries of British emperors.

Richard was the last English monarch to die on a battlefield in 1485. The experts have published initial data suggesting the remains belong to Richard, including an analysis of his curved spine and the injuries that killed him.
