Social media has become a large part of people’s lives and more and more people are signing up for sites like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and more. Researchers have taken this opportunity to run studies on human behaviour, while the results have provided new information, researchers are doubting the validity of such results. Two computer scientists have warned that using data from social media sites are extremely biased and may skew your studies in the wrong direction, while the results will look promising they can be misleading and often wrong.
