Researchers find Fetal DNA tests highly accurate, but warn of exceptions

A Roche blood tests for screening fetuses to determine the Down syndrome was found to be ahead of the standards tests for parental screening in younger low risk women according to researchers and this has in turn set the stage for a wider use of the test.

The study has been published in New England Journal of Medicine, and is the largest that shows the tests to be accurate even in the case of low-risk women.
