Researchers compare Images of Massive Star W75N(B)-VLA 2

In a paper published Thursday in Science, researchers said they compared images taken 18 years apart of a huge star W75N(B)-VLA 2. The star is about 4,200 light years away from Earth and eight times bigger than the sun.

According to the researchers, they compared the images by using the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array, a collection of 27 telescopes at an observatory in New Mexico. They compared image that was captured in 1996 with a 2014 image.
