Research Warns That Sea Levels Are Rising To Dangerous Levels

New research warns that coastal cities like Washington D.C. could be at great risk for severe flooding over the rest of this century. In fact, sea levels rise in Washington D.C.—and Wilmington North Carolina—have already passed what experts call the “tipping point”. Furthermore other East coast cities can now expect to reach the point where they could experience at least 30 days of “nuisance-level flooding,” every year by 2050.
