Research reveals that young adults consume more news on social media than adults think possible

A survey of 1,064 young adults conducted from January 5 to February 2, 2015 by Media Insight Project – a collaboration between the AP-NORC Center and the American Press Institute – which also funded the research, reveals that young adults consume more news via social media channels made possible by their mobile devices than adults typically think possible.

The findings for this study will be presented on Monday at the yearly convention of the Newspaper Association of America in Nashville.
