Scientists were already aware of the fact that jellyfish moves with a speed of a water jet. However, a latest research reveals that the speed and power of the jellyfish is directly related to the flow of water. A group of environmental researchers attached a special GPS device to determine the movement of the little sea creature. The main objective of the device is to record ocean current activity and the speed of the small marine animal. Astonishingly, the data disclosed that jellyfish observe a certain pattern of speed to order to fight with the ocean current.

Scientists have revealed an interesting feature of jellyfish. Although these simple creatures do not have brain and heart, they can very well detect water current and have the ability to swim against it.
