Regulators recently found out white-collar workers use a variety of prescription drugs given to patients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to boost work performance in their workplace. The said workers also use various amphetamine-based stimulants to stay alert at work and improve performance, and some use prescription medications like Adderall, Concerta, and Vyvanse among others.

Doctors see this as a dangerous trend, because they maintain that misuse of such drugs cause addiction, hallucinations, and anxiety. Many users obtain these drugs through illegal dealers, and some even pretend to suffer from ADHD just to get a prescription written for them.
