Qatar confirms it's holding British human rights investigators

Qatar has confirmed it has been holding two British human rights workers who went missing in Doha a week ago while investigating the conditions of Nepalese migrant labourers.

Krishna Upadhyaya and Ghimire Gundev, who work for the Global Network for Rights and Development (GNRD), based in The Netherlands, were apparently detained as they prepared to leave their hotel to fly home on August 31.
