An extensive survey of nearly 135,000 people shows that psychedelic drugs are not linked with mental health issues. Earlier, a research from Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim demonstrated that psychedelic drugs increases the risk of mental health ailments such as suicidal thoughts, severe depression and anxiety. However, latest research confirms that these drugs do not have a negative effect on individual’s mental health. The study is described in the Journal of Psychopharmacology.
