Psoriasis linked to Increased Risk of Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure

According to a new study published in JAMA Dermatology, patients with moderate and severe psoriasis are at an increased risk of uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease and it affects 2-4% of the general population. Risk factors that are common among people with psoriasis are: metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure and obesity.
