A recent study reveals that gay men face high risk of being affected with HIV. In London itself, one in eight gay men have HIV, and when talking about the entire UK the figure is one in 26, shows the study.

The findings of the study conducted on PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) have proven to be game-changer as the National Health Service (NHS) is also planning to adopt them. Antiretroviral drugs have transformed HIV treatment and patients have a near-normal life expectancy.
