Program to cut premature births through specialized care to start in Queens hospitals

A March of Dimes program to curb premature births titled “Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait,” will be implemented at Jamaica and Elmhurst Hospitals.

A new program aims to slash the number of premature births in the city by giving at-risk moms access to special medical care, stress-reduction therapy and even information-packed digital tablets.
