A pox on mandatory vaccinations

Since the measles outbreak traced to Disneyland that has resulted in more than 100 cases of infection, there has been much discussion about vaccination and whether the government should be able to require someone, or one’s child, to be vaccinated against their will.

In this case, much of the “anti-vaxxer” crowd seems to have been misled by inaccurate information, but it would be a mistake to shut down all debate on mandatory vaccinations based on a single case of misinformation.
