Pot and Schizophrenia Linked Finds New Research

The use of cannabis does increase the appearance of schizophrenia, but the fact that the usage is significantly higher among individuals with people who have the genetic predisposition to the disorder was a link discovered by Robert Power from the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London. The study does not eliminate the possibility that schizophrenia cases increase after usage, but it only confirms that that the association is clear in both directions.
