LISBONPortugal's Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho said on Friday he may end up in opposition next week in his first public recognition that his government could be ousted by the leftist majority in parliament.
"If I am not prime minister as of Tuesday it will be because the Socialists did not let me continue," he told reporters after meeting with lawmakers. "If I am potentially not in government but in opposition, I will assume my responsibilities."
