A new study suggests that poor sleep in adolescence can be an early indication of alcohol and drug problems and of regrettable sexual encounters. Scientists say that teenagers who have bad sleeping habits are more inclined to get into risky situations in the following years that those who have a healthy sleep schedule.

Therefore, researchers advise parents to be more attentive to their children’s sleeping habits.
