Poor New Yorkers Get Fancy Food left Over Items, But All in Vain

These days New York has become one of the best destinations for new and word famous food items, but the irony of situation is that receivers can’t even afford normal meat and potatoes. In the previous week around 90,000 pounds of delicacies left-over was sent to New York from the Summer Fancy Food Show; the largest place in New York where you can find specialty foods and diverse range of beverages. Please note that a three days carnival at Jacob Javits Convention Center on Manhattan’s West Side got closed on Tuesday. On the last day hundreds of volunteers who were available there collapsed mountains of salsas and jams, artisanal cheeses, plus chocolate, prosciutto, olive oil, spices and other world famous items from 49 countries.

To make use of that left over food in the best possible way, more than half a dozen tractors-trailers delivered that to several community programs and pantries around that area.
