Pollution and Other Odors Create Problems for Pollination

Researchers from the University of Washington and University of Arizona claimed in their study that insects have problems in identifying plants if pollution and other odors come in their way.

Main objective of the study was to assess how insects interacted with plants in both clean and polluted air. To achieve their objective, an experiment was carried out in which researchers saw how tobacco hornworm moths interacted with plants in both clean and polluted air.
