Georgia hasn’t voted for a Democrat for president in more than two decades, but a new Monmouth University poll out Monday shows the 2016 election could be close in the Peach State.
The poll Monday shows Donald Trump barely edging Hillary Clinton, getting the support of 45% of likely Georgia voters to Clinton's 42%. That 3-point difference is within the margin of error. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson had 8% support.
