Policymaking at AMA Shifts into High Gear

Regarding reproductive health services, a resolution was introduced that called for the AMA to do what it could to ensure continued access to reproductive services in the event they are curtailed after a hospital merger or acquisition.

Delegates from Louisiana, among others here at the AMA's interim meeting, supported a clause from the original proposal that called for the merged institution to "provide education" to the community regarding access to reproductive health services.
