A man is in custody in the death of an American student in Rome, according to a statement released today by Italian police.
Roman police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Massimo Galioto. Galioto, who has no fixed address according to police, was taken into custody and is "seriously implicated" in the murder, according to the statement.
