Poland's PM accuses opposition of obstructing compromise

WARSAW, Poland – Poland's prime minister has accused the main opposition party of avoiding talks that could solve a political crisis while complaining about Poland to European institutions instead.

Poland's ruling conservative party is locked in a political conflict with the opposition that is stalling the work of the constitutional court. The Venice Commission, a European body of law experts, recently urged all of Poland's political forces to compromise.
