It seems that long search of scientists for an elusive particle that behaves as a matter as well as an anti-matter has come to an end. A team of researchers led by Ali Yazdani of Princeton University has found a particle inside a superconducting material, which can fulfill the requirements of being an elusive particle.
The finding, of the so called Majorana particle, can prove quite beneficial for quantum computing. As per scientists, every matter has an equal and opposite anti-matter with equal mass, but opposite charge. When matter interacts with anti-matter then they destroy each other.
