On Tuesday, the people of Colorado rejected their incumbent senator as their representative and elected a republican, Cory Gardner, instead. Mark Udall is a democrat and the incumbent senator representing Colorado, but he was voted out on the grounds that he is too pro-Obama and with a hard line stance on abortion.
The voters of Colorado had always been democrats, but then, they favored a representative that would sympathize with their interests than a party bearer that engaged in Washington politics. There were other contestants for the senatorial seat, but Cory Gardner and Mark Udall were the top contestants...
