It has been reported that Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess, is moving gradually and steadily. Pele has recently deposited the lava across the Big Island of Hawaii, and residents of the small town said that the lava will reshape the community as it trickles towards the ocean.
Lava from a vent at Kilauea volcano has been drifting northeast towards the ocean since June. Last month, scientists said that the lava will hit the main road in Pahoa, a small town of about 950 residents, within two weeks.
