Over 372,000 People die Every Year due to Drowning: WHO Report

On Monday, the World Health Organisation (WHO) released the global report on drowning, 'Preventing a leading killer'. As per the report, drowning is responsible for the lives of 372,000 people every year.

UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq unveiled that every hour, more than 40 people are killed due to drowning. Drowning is one of the 10 leading causes of death for children and young people in every region of the world.
