OU Professor Hopes Project is Picked for Mars mission

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) - A professor from Ohio University hopes a device she created to extract water and hydrogen from urine will draw enough public votes in a competition to be sent on an unmanned mission to Mars in 2018.

The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/1tkD9Bs ) reports the device is among 10 projects picked as finalists in the Mars One competition to send technology to that planet.
