Wisconsin-based industrial company, Oshkosh Corporation, has won a $30 billion contract to replace the entire Humvees of the US Army and Marines units. A Humvee is a high mobility, multipurpose, military vehicle that is capable of being used in conflicts and battles.
Lockheed Martin and AM General also lobbied for the contract as industry giants with extensive experience and technology at building Humvees, but Oshkosh came out tops with winning the contract for the military vehicles.
