Orion, NASA’s multi-purpose crew vehicle built to transport astronauts to Mars has finally been brought to its home in Florida after a mission that began on Dec. 5 and a long time spent in transit after its splash in the Pacific Ocean.

This is the first time after the Apollo mission in 1970 when a spaceship has traveled “beyond low-Earth orbit”. The spacecraft started its unmanned journey on Dec.5 at the Kennedy Space in Florida.
