Only 2 Out of 80 Polar Bear Cubs Survived in the Beaufort Sea

Falling from 1,500 to 900 in just nine years, the polar bear population of the southern Beaufort Sea is in drastic decline, and if action isn’t taken soon, they be will gone forever.

Located between the USA and Canada, the Beaufort Sea is home to one of only 19 polar bear populations on the planet. The bears are essential to the health of the Arctic ecosystem, playing an important role in the delicate marine environment.
