Omar Abdullah loses Sonawar to PDP by more than 3000 votes

JK chief minister Omar Abdullah has lost elections from Sonwar constituency by more than 3000 votes from PDP’s lesser known candidate Mohammad Ashraf Mir. Abdullah however is leading from Berwah constituency and has a slim lead over his rival Congress candidate Nazir Khan.

In Sonwar Omar secured 7929 votes his rival got 12207, BJP candidate Darakshan Andrabi got 835 votes.
