Offshoots of Molten Rock could pose Threat around Hawaiian village

Lava that was heading towards a village on Hawaii's Big Island from a volcano has stalled but according to officials, molten rock's offshoots could become problem for nearby areas if offshoots move from higher elevations.

On Tuesday, the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency stated that the front edge of lava from Kilauea Volcano's eruption was approximately a half mile upslope of a main intersection of two roads of Pahoa Village.
