Vladimir Komoyedov, the head of the Russian State Duma Defense Committee, has denied reports that the Defense Ministry is working on new plans to create an armed forces reserve force in the country. The law on the mobilization reserve already works, and all four military districts could have a reserve army, RIA Novosti quoted Komoyedov as saying. He said the reports only relate to the idea of the modernization of a project that already exists.
