Obese Children Incorrectly Assess Their Weight

The study concluded that approximately 81% of obese boys and 71% of obese girls are incorrectly assessing their current weight.

The survey was conducted between 2005 and 2012 and involved data on adolescents between the ages of 8 and 15. Overall, 30% of the children considered to be obese, which translates to 9.1 million, did not accurately assess their weight status.
