ObamaCare Boosts Children's Health Spending

Spending on children’s health care rose 5.5 percent annually between 2009 and 2012 as the Affordable Care Act expanded coverage of more wellness services and vaccinations for kids, a new analysis shows.

“We are seeing more use of services related to the ACA, but we are still seeing prices rise,” said Carolina Herrera, director of research at the institute who co-authored the report with Amanda Frost, senior researcher at the institute.
