A top-ranking Democrat has come out against the Iranian nuclear deal ahead of a major speech Wednesday where President Obama plans to make his public case for the agreement.
Rep. Steve Israel, D-N.Y., told Newsday he will oppose the plan. Spokeswoman Caitlin Girouard confirmed his opposition to Fox News.
