Oscars Sunday dawned gray, chilly and drizzly in Los Angeles, with forecasters projecting heavy afternoon rain, to the horror of frizz-prone awards-goers – the Bagger included – citywide.

There’s a big tent over the arrivals and red carpet area. Of course getting to and from it will be a tricky matter for those of us not arriving by limo or Escalade: here’s hoping we don’t all show up resembling shivering, begowned drowned rats.
