NY Officials to Remove Aquatic Invasive Species Threatening other Plants and Wildlife on Farlain Lake

An invasive weed is acting as a big trouble for plants as well as for wildlife in a lake near Penetanguishene. New York state environmental officials said they are not going to ignore the species.

The officials along with forces and other organizations are going to eradicate the spread of the aquatic invasive species. In appearance, the species has a leafy plant look and seems to be completely harmless. But in reality, it is an invasive species known as Eurasian Water-Milfoil.
