WHO not satisfied with world governments’ response towards Ebola

The World Health Organization has said that world governments did not comply with their obligations during the Ebola crisis. Documents published by the international agency on Monday showed that it is now pushing for more power to tackle health emergencies in future.

WHO was subjected to heavy criticism for its slow response to the Ebola epidemic, which is responsible for at least 8,371 deaths out of more than 21,000 cases in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
