Archaeologists have uncovered a new hadrosaur species it believes to have lived about 75 million years ago in the Late Cretaceous period. The dinosaur is closely tied to its very distinctive nasal profile.

The study conducted at North Carolina State University discovered the dinosaur they uncovered and endearingly named Rhinorex had an unusually large nose. It is believed to have been a plant-eating animal that is said to have been similar to Edmontosaurus and Parasaurolophus.
