Nonprofit acquires endangered SW Indiana theater

A historic southwestern Indiana theater where humorist Red Skelton first performed has been acquired by a nonprofit group that hopes to attract arts-minded businesses as its next tenants.

Realtor Health Klein signed over the building's deed Friday to INVin. That nonprofit started this year by Steve Miller, an executive with Pioneer Oil, which is relocating from Illinois to Vincennes.
