Though the spoon may seem too humble a thing to invest money and technology into, Google has done just that- but this is no ordinary spoon. This is a smart spoon, which uses several algorithms and allows Parkinson’s patients to eat their food without worrying about any spills.

The technology of the spoon senses the tremors of an individual’s hand and makes adjustments instantly to stay balanced. The Liftware spoon has been found to reduce shaking of the spoon bowl by 76% in clinical trials.
