A massive 124-mile-wide crater has just been found on the Moon and the planetary scientists planned to name it after Amelia Earhart.

The crater was thought to be rather small until scientists analyzed the data taken from NASA’s Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory mission or GRAIL. It was also facing the planet Earth all along and it has been existing for about 3.9 billion years now.
