New Zealand is preparing UN resolution aimed at restarting Israeli-Palestinian peace talks

UNITED NATIONS – New Zealand says it has been working on a U.N. Security Council resolution aimed at restarting peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.

New Zealand's U.N. Ambassador Jim McLay said Tuesday it's time for the U.N.'s most powerful body "to use its moral and legal authority" to spur stalled negotiations.
