New York Now 23rd State To Legalize Medical Marijuana

According to the Associated Press, New York has just become the newest state –number 23—in the union to officially authorize medical marijuana. New York will, however, have one of the most “restrictive”, regulated programs in the United States.

On Saturday, Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo signed legislation that will soon allow New York patients with one of 10 different diseases to get “non-smokeable versions” of medical marijuana.
